Use PrayerBoard if your mosque site is not WordPress

Keep your current website. Install WordPress on a subdomain, or ask PrayerBoard to host the display.

Your main mosque website does not have to be WordPress. PrayerBoard only needs WordPress where the plugin is installed. The public site can stay on Wix, Squarespace, a custom CMS, or a static host.

Option 1 — a WordPress subdomain

At your host, create a subdomain such as prayerboard.yourmosque.org or display.yourmosque.org, install WordPress there, then install PrayerBoard. The homepage of the mosque does not change. Details are in the FAQ.

Option 2 — hosted on prayerboard.io

If you have no website at all, PrayerBoard can host an install so you log in at a URL like your-mosque.prayerboard.io. A small setup fee applies. Contact to arrange it. You still manage the board in WordPress; you do not maintain a separate public CMS.

After WordPress is running, follow setup to connect the account and open the display URL on the TV.
