Setup & install PrayerBoard

Download the WordPress plugin, connect your mosque, and publish a mosque TV display or prayer time screen. Log in as a WordPress Administrator before installing or managing the plugin.

No WordPress on your main website? You can still use PrayerBoard by creating a WordPress subdomain just for your display. See the step-by-step FAQ answer.

Download and install the plugin

Download PrayerBoard from PrayerBoard.io, upload it in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then activate it.

Run setup

Open the PrayerBoard setup guide in WordPress, choose your location, and confirm your prayer time settings.

Connect your account

Connect the plugin to PrayerBoard.io so plan features, limits, and service data are applied securely.

Choose a board design

Select a template, colour preset, and display layout for your mosque screen.

Add slides

Create announcements, images, moon phase, countdowns, slideshows, videos, or embeds depending on your plan.

Open the display URL

Load your public prayer board URL on a Smart TV, electronic display, mini PC, tablet, laptop, or PC.

Setup equipment

Connect any web-enabled device to your mosque or masjid screen — Smart TV, electronic display, or HDMI TV. No special signage hardware required.

Use an old laptop, PC or tablet

Choose a reliable device with an HDMI port, a modern browser, and internet access. A Raspberry Pi is optional.

Use a 1080p display

Make sure the device and connected screen can show the board at 1080p resolution.

Set browser scaling to 100%

Set font scaling and browser zoom to 100% so the board layout displays correctly.

Open fullscreen mode

Load your public PrayerBoard URL in any browser, once it loads press F11 to view it in fullscreen.

Connect HDMI

Attach an HDMI cable from the device to the Smart TV, electronic display, or monitor.

Select the HDMI input

Set the TV mode or input source to the correct HDMI channel.
